Dear Brethren,
It has been brought to our attention that the 4th International Scottish Masonic Conference registration link that was provided in the previous letter is causing some issues.
You are kindly advised to use the below link which has been updated and takes you straight to the registration portal.
https://www.grandlodgescotland.com/4th-imsc-2022/
Once you have entered the site, click on the “+” in the “early bird” registration and that shall indicate on the right hand side the amount to be paid. If you wish to register a partner, click on the “+” in the partner section and that will add the amount to be paid on the right. Click on “continue” on the right hand side and this will lead to other fields that need to be answered and the payment portal.
Once you have entered your card details, and clicked on “register”, you will receive 2 emails confirming the payment.
Anyone who registered prior to 1st March 2022 or who has registered but have not seen the payment portal, are requested to use the above process to register for the conference.
In the meantime, I am happy to inform you that the number of delegates and partners registered in the first few days is impressive and looks like we may be full up before the deadlines.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance or clarifications one email 4ismc@grandlodgescotland.org.

Dear Brethren,
The Organsing Committee of the 4th International Scottish Masonic Conference, have great pleasure in extending an invitation to all Brethren under the Scottish Constitution and their partners to be part of yet another memorable event under the Grand Lodge of Scotland:
4th International Scottish Masonic Conference
Grand Lodge of Scotland, Edinburgh, Scotland
Sunday 20th November to Wednesday 23rd November 2022
“The Conference has the potential to lift all our spirits and give us a truly memorable week of Masonic activity in November.” – Grand Master Mason
The Conference
The 4th ISM Conference is significant as it aims to strengthen our institution by increasing awareness and understanding of Scottish Freemasonry in the 21st century with its main theme being
The Vision for 2030 and beyond. As the Craft aims to make good men better, this conference aims to make a good fraternity better by scaling up conversations about the future and defining new ideas that will motivate and inspire Brethren for the 21st century. The Conference is open to all Brethren guided by the Grand Lodge of Scotland and all Entered Apprentices, Fellows of Craft, and Master Masons are encouraged to participate. The Conference shall be limited to the first 300 delegates who have registered and are fully paid up.
The Hosting City: The City of Edinburgh
Edinburgh is recognised as the capital of Scotland since at least the 15th century and, as you know, the home of the Grand Lodge of Scotland. The city has long been a centre of historical and cultural attractions that have made it a world renowned tourist attraction. Edinburgh has architectural wonders and historic attractions blended in with high end shops, superb bars and gourmet restaurants. A walk up the Royal Mile is the perfect introduction to Edinburgh. Starting at the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, follow the cobbles and you’ll come across some of the city’s most famous attractions. These include the Scotch Whisky Experience, St Giles’ Cathedral, the ultramodern Scottish Parliament and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. One may even venture inside the Queen’s official residence in Scotland, before hiking up the hill to Arthur’s Seat in Holyrood Park. On top of an extinct volcano at the peak of the Royal Mile, sits the most popular tourist attraction, Edinburgh Castle. It became Scotland’s chief royal castle in the Middle Ages and is now home to the Scottish Crown Jewels – the Honours of Scotland. You can also visit the Stone of Destiny, Mons Meg – the famous 15th century gun – and the National War Museum.
