LODGE PRESENTATIONS

On Wednesday 10th September 2025 the first meeting of the season which was a FC Degree on candidate Fraser Stirling RWM Bro Jim Macaulay welcomed all Brethren present into Lodge Carron 139 also in attendance was RWPGM Bro Stuart Stirling PM No.139 with his deputation for the first time into his Mother Lodge since his installation on 14th June 2025 It was a difficult evening with mixed feelings as we celebrated two Brethren with 50 years' service to Freemasonry Bro Alexander Fraser, Bro Allan  Matthew Meek, but also tinged with sadness as we lost three Brethren to the Grand Lodge above during the last four months:- Bro John Lapsley PM, Bro Craig Harvey, Bro Ian Strathie who will be sadly missed but not forgotten. There was a presentation by the family of Bro John Lapsley PM who handed in artefacts belonging to the PM with the Brethren of Lodge Carron 139, deciding to frame and place in the PM’s room. The presentation by Bro Alan Reid PM No.139 PWSPGM and Bro Dave Barclay Lodge Polmont No.793 who was the brother in-law of the late Bro John Lapsley PM, presented a montage to the RWM No.139 it was a very special, emotional and a great tribute to an outstanding PM. We thank the family for this amazing artefact. There was also a personal presentation to the RWPGM Bro Stuart Stirling by Bro Charlie MacVicar DoC to mark his appointment as RWPGM of Stirlingshire, and for RWPGM to remember his special day.
