The cabinets ordered last week were fitted today by JD Allan Baxter on Tuesday 12th October 2021 still to fit lights and a surround it is looking very stylish and is intended that the bottom section will hold a Masonic reference library-artefacts held, will be shown in the top section. If any Brother wishes to donate Masonic literature for display please contact Lodge Secretary.

 

 
 

 

Lodge setup for the opening of the Business Meeting held on the 8th September 2021 after permission being granted to open the Lodge.

 

 

 

Brethren, the portrait framed picture &  50yr diploma have been presented to the Lodge on 26th May 2021 by Jean & June Beveridge on behalf of the family for their father Brother David Beveridge. Brother David was a stalwart of Lodge Carron No.139 for many years and a great attender of his Lodge, he will be sadly missed by all Brethren who had the privelage of knowing him. On Wednesday 2nd September  2020 RWPGM Gordon Sewell accompanied by RWM James MacAulay presented Brother Robert Stuart with the Platinum certificate and jewel for seventy years membership and service to Lodge Carron 139, the presentation was due to be held in March 2020 but had to be cancelled due to covid restrictions. RWM James MacAulay spoke on behalf of the Lodge praising Brother Robert for his major contribution to Lodge Carron having been in many offices and organiser of several fund raising and social events. He was initiated into Lodge Carron 139 on the 15th of March 1950. Brother Robert reached the High Office of DM 1967-1969. RWPGM Gordon Sewell also said a few words in praise of his loyal service. Brother Robert made suitable reply reminding the two Brethren of his time and giving a few anecdotes of how things were and wishing all the best for the future of the Lodge.(Social distancing being observed)
 
After the presentation of his Platinum certificate, and with the RWPGM and RWM having left, Brother Robert Stuart invited two of his closest friends round for a cup of tea. Pictured with his certificate and jewel Brother Robert is seen with Brother Shearer Henry and Brother Tom Laird. They have been friends and Lodge attendees for many a decade. Group photos at Lodge Carron No.139 on Wednesday 26th February 2020 when a Deputation from Lodge Bannockburn Bruce &Thistle No.312 headed by PM Brother Tam Campbell visited the Lodge to receive the Travelling Gavel from RWM Brother Jim MacAulay. Also in the deputation were several RWM's from within the Province, PM's, Officebearers and Brethren also our Candidate for the evening was Brother Robert Stoddard E.A.
