THE FINAL CLEAROUT

All external rubbish from the Lodge at the rear of the building Friday 21st October 2022 has now been cleared to Roughmute for recycling. 

LOUNGE

The lounge has now been completed Monday 17th October 2022 Brother Allan Baxter JD intimates to the Brethren of Lodge Carron No.139 that concludes all the major project  work/refurbishment of the Lodge this has now been completed for the time being. Our grateful thanks goes to Brother Baxter and all the other Brethren who gave of their own time and expertise to further the interests of the Lodge.  

KITCHEN

The kitchen has now been completed on Sunday 16th October 2022 by Brother Allan Baxter JD and our thanks goes to all who helped refurbish the Lodge over the last 2 years. Brother Baxter has been the Architect of the overall project.

LARGE ANTE-ROOM UPDATE

Lodge Secretary Kenneth Maclennan 8th September 2021 reports on the latest update of the Master's Room with the doors which have been fitted by Brother Allan Baxter. Brother Baxter has used his undoubted skills to further the interests of his Mother Lodge. PM Brother Tam Meikle has carried out painting many areas of the Lodge. Lodge Secretary Brother Kenny Maclennan has been the overseer of the whole project of refurbishment of the Lodge. RWM Brother Jim MacAulay has been very supportive of the work carried out in the Lodge with his skills as a Builder. Brother Dougie Thompson has also used his undoubted skills of carpentry with great aplomb. Brothers Ian Stevenson and Ian Thompson used their skills of painting the Temple to the great satisfaction of the Brethren. If I have omitted any other Brother/Brothers please accept my sincere apology. 

SMALL ANTE-ROOM UPDATE

Lodge Secretary Kenneth Maclennan 10th January 2021 reports on the latest update on the Storage & Records room refurbishment. It is edging to completion, Brother Allan has worked tirelessly and completed a number of tasks. We were also helped by PM Tam Meikle who has done a fair bit of painting, there will be no work in February - all are keen to take a break before starting on the large room.

SMALL ANTE-ROOM UPDATE                                                                              

Lodge Secretary Kenneth Maclennan 31st December 2020 reports on the latest update on the Storage & Records room refurbishment. Steady progress to date. Great work from Brother's Dougie and Allan. Cupboards and shelving fitted. (Shelving removed in pictures as I was painting this morning). Apron store remodelled to fit room. Still to fit new doors. Electrics started - Going to be several downlights, Painting started. New radiator to fit, Sink and small worktop to fit, Window bench seat - Cushion to be made - we have the material in store, Storage unit on order from Ikea - use for working documents, Carpet / flooring to fit. Should be completed by end January. Regards Kenny.Photos Below

Lodge Secretary Kenneth Maclennan 2nd December 2020 reports on the latest update, all internal fittings have been removed. Brother Dougie Thomson has created the frames for the new cupboards. The other picture shows the sink removed from the window this will become a bench seat.  A small sink will be fitted nearby also fitted were two new door handles. The room will hold all orders of degree items. There will also be shelving for Lodge Carron record books such as the Roll books, Petition books, Attendance books &, Minute books with a small shelf for reading.  It will also hold the Lodge Aprons.
