In the company of my patient and good lady Caroline (resident photographer) I was delighted to meet up with Craig Holden from Forth Valley Giving (NHS) Saturday afternoon 10th October 2020 at the entrance to Forth Valley Royal Hospital. Craig was absolutely delighted to receive a cheque for £600.00 which I know will be put to great use. I was asked to pass on sincere thanks to everyone who helped in this donation presentation. Raising this money would not have been possible without all the support from family and friends, I feel very humbled, especially during this pandemic period for the manner in how this appeal was received. Many thanks to you all for your generosity with huge thanks also to Caroline for her excellent photography and patience. SMIB UTR. Brother Gordon (Charlie MacVicar, Almoner, Lodge Carron 139.”

On Friday 2nd October 2020 accompanied by my wife Caroline we headed to the Falkirk Wheel to carry out the second of my nominated charities with the cheque presentation to Morag representing Prostate Scotland who kindly travelled through from Edinburgh to meet up at the Falkirk Wheel to receive the cheque for the sum of £600.00. It was a privilege to hand over the cheque for such a worthy cause and one which is close to our hearts, this is also the nominated charity by the Grand Lodge of Scotland. I had hoped to have fellow Brethren for support at the presentation but sadly due to the current restrictions this was not possible. Raising this money would not have been possible without all the support from family and friends, I feel very humbled many thanks to you all for your generosity and making contributions to the raffle. Thankyou. With thanks also to Caroline for her excellent photography SMIB UTR

Brother Lenny McComb, Past Master of Lodge Slamannan No 484, PG Junior Chaplain, ran an initiative to raise funds for Strathcarron Hospice. He asked all 23 Lodges within the Province to run an event of their choice and add it to special fund which will accumulate all the monies. The total amount was then donated as a lump sum to Strathcarron Hospice. A short and restricted presentation took place on the 15th May 2020 where a cheque was handed over to Strathcarron. The original target was £10.000, however due to the efforts of all Lodges in the Province and some personal donations. the final total reached the magnificent sum of £20,020. Details of all contributions are detailed below. Pictured below are PM Leonard McComb Lodge St John Slamannan 484 & PM William Stevenson Lodge Abercromby 531 on behalf of the Brethren & Lodges from the Province of Stirlingshire making the presentation. A massive vote of thanks must go to each & every Lodge/Brother that contributed to this fantastic sum of money.
