Gallery Carron Royal Arch Chapter No.478
Good morning Companions, this morning (Tuesday 21st December 2023) I had the pleasure of spreading some Christmas CHEER by delivering 60 x selection boxes on behalf of all at Carron RAC No.478 to the Thistle wing and Annexe buildings of Kinnaird & Larbert High School which were very well received. The Thistle wing department is in Kinnaird primary school and the Annexe department is part of Larbert High School. These parts of the schools are dedicated to supporting children who have additional needs. The manager of the department (in the picture) expressed his sincere thanks to all at the Chapter and went on to say "these were very much appreciated indeed, that is a really kind gesture" picture with permission Paul - MEZ Festive greetings,
On Thursday 27th April 2023 a Deputation from the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Scotland, headed by the Depute WCN/MEC David AC Niven attended the Carron Lodge and Council No 478 for the purposes of Centenary Rededication. A large attendance witnessed a wonderful ceremonial carried out in an exemplary manner and much to the enjoyment of all concerned. Musical accompaniment was provided by both Companions Alan Reid on the Organ and Gavin Richardson on the Pipes. After the business of the evening was completed all retired to harmony where a buffet supper was provided by Airth Bakers. The Prosperity of the Council was proposed by the RWM of Lodge Carron Brother George Mawhinnie and suitable reply given by Acting WCN/MEC David Duncan. All in all a splendid evening for all in attendance and the organising committee and Office Bearers should take great enjoyment on the wonderful occasion-exactly one hundred years to the day since the granting of the Charter.
